Achievement for All

Albany Village Primary School will be taking part in the Achievement for All Schools Programme.  This is a national programme which aims to raise the achievement of all pupils. We are working closely with our school coach, Mr R Thompson, and will be developing many aspects of our work over the next two years.

The school champion for the programme is Miss J Mitcheson.

At Albany Village Primary School we strongly believe that children make better progress if we all work together.  A strong partnership between home and school helps children succeed and we would like all parents/carers to be part of this.

Over the coming months all parents/carers will be invited into school to meet with their child’s class teacher to discuss how we can support achievement and progress together.

Initially these meetings commenced in April 2017, with a small group of parents/carers.  Our aim is that by the end of the Achievement for All Schools Programme all parents/carers will have had the opportunity to attend a meeting with their child’s class teacher.
